Last updated 19 August 2026.
In summary
- Figure is a study aid — use it honestly, for your own learning.
- The AI tutor can make mistakes; check work that matters.
- Figure’s questions and mark schemes belong to Figure; your working belongs to you.
- You must be 13 or older to use the service.
Who may use Figure
By creating an account you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old; users under 13 may only use Figure with a parent or guardian’s permission. One account per person.
Your account
You sign in with a single-use code sent to your email address, so the security of your email account protects your Figure account — keep it secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Free plan and Figure Plus
The question bank, mark schemes, worked solutions and past-paper hub are free. Figure Plus is a paid subscription adding the AI tutor, marking of handwritten working, timed mock papers with grading, and revision planning. Figure Plus is not yet purchasable; until it is, nothing on the service charges you.
When Figure Plus goes on sale: the price is shown before you pay; the subscription renews until cancelled; you may cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period; and you have a 14-day cooling-off right under UK consumer law. If you use the paid features during those 14 days, the refund may be reduced by the value of the service already provided, as the law permits.
The AI tutor
The tutor is an AI system. It is designed to teach carefully, but it can produce incorrect steps, answers, or explanations. Do not rely on it as infallible, and check work that counts. Figure is a study aid: whether its use is permitted for any assessed work is governed by your school’s and exam board’s rules, and it is your responsibility to follow them.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to access other users’ data or interfere with the operation of the service;
- scrape, bulk-download, or republish the question bank, mark schemes, or solutions;
- use the tutor for purposes other than study;
- submit content that is unlawful or abusive;
- resell or share paid access.
Display names appear on shared surfaces such as the leaderboard and must be appropriate; we may reset names that are not. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, without prior warning where the breach is serious.
Intellectual property
Figure’s questions, mark schemes, worked solutions, lessons and design are the property of Figure Maths, licensed to you for personal study only — not for republication. Your working, answers, messages and photos remain yours; you grant us permission to process and store them in order to provide the service, as described in the privacy notice.
Termination
You may stop using Figure at any time and request deletion of your account at support@figuremaths.com. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. If the service is ever discontinued, we will give reasonable notice.
Disclaimers and liability
Figure is provided as available: we work to keep it accurate and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free and, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on it. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
Figure is operated by Figure Maths, the trading name of Miran Yilmaz, a sole trader based in England (ICO registration C2011828). These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Changes and contact
If these terms change materially, we will tell you in the app before the change applies. Questions: support@figuremaths.com.
